Mriganabhi (Kasturi) or Deer Musk: Medicinal uses

Kasturi or Mriganabhi is used for ayurvedic preparations from thousands of years. It is basically known as deer musk. It is collected from a gland of male deer situated nearby the rectum. It has a persistent odour. Now a day it is hard to get but it having many medicinal benefits. It is one of the most expensive animal products of all time. In much live saving medicines it is used.
