Ingredient:

  • Purified extract Guggulu also known as Indian Bdellium tree (Commiphora wightii, Commiphora mukul).

Indications:

  1. Hyperlipidemia
  2. Obesity
  3. As adjuvant for the management of weight control therapy.
  4. Abnormal Lipid Profile (usually high cholesterol and other elevated profiles)

Mechanism of action:

  1. It acts as an antagonist at farnesoid X receptor (FXR).
  2. It decreases the cholesterol uptake habits.
  3. It increases cholesterol conversion to bile acids.
  4. It upregulates the bile salt export pump (BSEP).
  5. It lowers LDL level and significantly inhibits LDL oxidation.

Dosages:

  1. 2 tablets twice daily along with Tablet Medahara Guggulu.
  2. 2 tablets twice daily with Kanchanar Guggulu.

Contraindication:

  • Avoid those who are undergoing treatment for infertility.

Presentation:
